Delta State College of Education, Mosogar (DESCOEM) is a premier teacher training institution located in Mosogar, within Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. Established by the Delta State Government, the college was created to meet the growing need for qualified and professional teachers in primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels across the state and beyond. Dr. Samuel O. Ugboduma is a distinguished mathematician, academician, and administrator with over three decades of experience in higher education and public service. He currently serves as the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State College of Education, Mosogar.

Foundation.
Delta State College fo Education was founded in the Year 2002 along with three other higher institutions, namely, Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashukwu and Delta State School of Maritime Technology, OkerenkokoOur Students.
Our students are individuals training to become professional educators equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to teach and inspire future generations. They undergo rigorous academic and practical training in teaching methods, subject content, classroom management, and educational psychology. These students play a vital role in shaping the future of education as they prepare to serve in schools, especially at the basic and secondary levels. They are expected to uphold values such as discipline, integrity, creativity, and a passion for learning.

Our College is Made Up of two Campuses: The campus one where the college initially started from and which now houses the College Demonstration Secondary School and other Essentisal Services and the campus two whic house bothe administrative and academic infrastructure and human capital of the college.
